Beau Marksohn, Founder
I was born and raised in NYC and have lived in the UK for ten years. I am an ex-professional paintball player (it’s a thing), went to university for Fine Arts but spent most of my career working in finance. These days I find myself primarily investing in startups and companies in early growth stages.

I am a childhood trauma survivor and as a result spent most of my life in active addiction to cope with the pain of my past. I am now in recovery for Addiction and Eating Disorders, but I still suffer from Unipolar Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, severe Body Dysmorphia and ADHD. Through therapy and cycling I have the tools needed to live a more balanced life.

I fell in love with cycling while riding Boris bikes during the pandemic, delivering food to vulnerable people for a charity. However, when I first tried-on lycra I felt like I didn’t ‘fit’ into the cycling world and sadly often still don’t.

I’m now focusing a lot of my time and energy on advocating for mental health, eating disorders and body dysmorphia awareness as well as inclusivity within the cycling industry through the EVERYbody Community.

EVERYbody Community was founded with the idea that bringing people together in a safe space will encourage meaningful discussions about mental health, body dysmorphia, addiction, eating disorders, and inclusivity. The community was founded on the principle that sharing our fear, pain, shame, guilt, etc is the first step towards a deeper understanding of ‘self’, which in turn helps us connect with others and feel less alone. SInce its inception, EVERYbody has hosted Rides, Retreats, and Panel discussions in major cities internationally. We strive to be an inclusive and welcoming community and all our welcome at any of our events!
